The Hot Disk TPS 2500 S Dual is a state of the art quality control instrument. By testing the thermal conductivity of a sample or device, even the smallest structural or compositional deviations are easy to detect. The TPS 2500 S features the ability to perform several simultaneous test, while retaining the accuracy and versatility of the normal TPS 2500 S. Each unit is equipped with two sensor positions, and the Dual units can be modularly linked in parallel, thus allowing the complete system to be tailored to your testing requirements. The ability to test several samples or many positions on one larger device, at once, makes the TPS 2500 S ideal for incorporation in a production line. The TPS 2500 S features the ability to perform several simultaneous test, while retaining the accuracy and versatility of the normal TPS 2500 S. Each unit is equipped with two sensor positions, and the Dual units can be modularly linked in parallel, thus allowing the complete system to be tailored to your testing requirements. The ability to test several samples or many positions on one larger device, at once, makes the TPS 2500 S ideal for incorporation in a production line. The TPS technique is used in more than 600 laboratories today, and is highly appreciated for its ability to simultaneously determine thermal conductivity, thermal diffusivity and specific heat capacity from a single measurement. The technique allows for very flexible sample geometries and sample preparation is minimal.

Optional software modules allows the instrument to be used in special applications, such as measurements of thin films, coatings or adhesive layers (Thin Film module), high-conducting sheets or slabs (Slab module), and anisotropic samples or layered structures (Anisotropic module) – important applications in e.g. the electronics, automotive, aerospace, nuclear and chemical industries.

The test & analysis software for the TPS 2500 S Dual incorporates tools for automated measurements. The software also incorporates tools for exporting results to 3rd-party software (MS Excel), for additional processing or statistical analysis.
